The school dedicated a special day to community outreach as part of Swachhata Pakhwada. Awareness was raised about the critical practice of waste segregation and the profound impact of cleanliness on surroundings. Students, faculty and staff came together to champion this cause, engaging with the local society and initiating meaningful conversations to inspire a collective change towards a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

A special online workshop, Parenting in Digital Era, was organised by the school. The session was held for the parents of the students of classes pre nursery-II. The key speaker of the event was Aparna Apte Gupta, an executive coach, a facilitator and TEDx speaker. Apte shared valuable tips with parents to enhance their knowledge, strategies and resources to support and enhance the parenting skills and practices to foster healthy development, well-being, and success of their children.

Doon Public School, Panchkula

The school hosted the “Rashtriya Poshan Jagrati Mah”, a month-long campaign aimed at promoting nutritional awareness and encouraging healthy living among students. Experts were invited to discuss the importance of balanced diet. Demonstrations introduced students to simple, healthy recipes that can easily be incorporated into their daily meals. Students creatively expressed their understanding of nutrition and healthy habits through artistic posters and quiz contests, which fostered a spirit of learning and competition.

The school students living in hostel enthusiastically participated in much awaited Freshers Party. Principal Anuja Sharma blessed the students to work hard and achieve great heights with dedication and perseverance. The theme of the event was ‘Home Away From Home’. The programme commenced with Saraswati Vandana followed by speeches, dances and ramp walk. Parinaaz bagged the title of Ms fresher followed by Naisha as first runner-up and Janna as second runner-up.

GMS, Pocket No 6, NAC, Mani Majra

The school organised a morning procession (Prabhat Pheri) under the Swachhta Pakhwada programme in and around its premises. Students urged people to keep the environment clean so that everyone can live a healthy life in clean surroundings. Students also discussed the harmful effects of a contaminated environment.

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, OCF, Chd

Bachpan Save the Innocence, a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting child rights, conducted a workshop on unsafe touch for students of classes 3 to 5 the school.
