A free health check up camp was conducted for students of Police Public School, Sector 48, by Tushar Foundation, and NGO. Students from the 3-13 years age group of attended the health camp. A general check up of students was done and a specialist check up for ENT problems was also conducted.
PMLSD PUBLIC SCHOOL
The primary wing of PMLSD Public School, Sector 32, celebrated the Hindi Diwas to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India. Competitions were organised such as Sulekh Pratiyogita, Kavita Sunao Pratiyogita and Kahani Sunao Pratiyogita. Principal Monica Sharma, distributed certificates to the winners. Meanwhile, Amaira won the ‘Talent Trove 2024’ title, during a interschool Fancy Dress Competition.
Chandigarh Baptist School
A Training of Trainers (TOT) programme was successfully conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) at Chandigarh Baptist School, Sector 45. The training course aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Ramandeep Kaur, Deputy Secretary/Head COE, highlighted the initiatives taken by the Board to put a strong focus on the improvement of the academic outcomes through robust capacity building of the teachers.
Yadavindra Public School
A swimming meet was organised at Yadavindra Public School. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as the children participated in the freestyle and relay races. It was not about the competition but the event focussed on building water confidence and encouraging fitness from an early age, the organisers said.
