Playway students of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, celebrated Red Colour Day with a variety of interesting activities to familiarise the little ones with the colour red. The highlight of the celebration was the thumb painting activity, where the students joyfully created beautiful pictures of apples using their thumbprints.

She addressed students highlighting both the advantages and potential pitfalls of mobile phone usage. The workshop aimed to educate students on how to use mobile phones responsibly and effectively, especially in the context of education and personal development. Ahuja also provided valuable insights into the psychological impacts of mobile phone overuse and strategies to mitigate these effects. Rani Poddar, principal, also shared her insightful views. Students enthusiastically participated in the workshop.

The Qudrat (Eco Club) members of Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh, along with teachers and students, actively participated in a series of events aimed at promoting environmental conservation on the occasion of Van Mahotsav. Further, a nukkad natak (street play) was performed on the theme “Save trees as they are important.” A poster-making competition was held on the same theme of saving trees.

St Anne’s convent school, Chandigarh

St Anne’s Convent School organised a seminar on POCSO (Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences) Act and Justice Juvenile Act. The resource person was Brijendra Singh Bajwa, an advocate at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Students from Classes VII-XII were among the audience who learned about the important details of both the acts.

RIMT World School recently hosted a workshop focused on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for school education 2023, recognising its significance in professional development. During the workshop, the teachers engaged in interactive sessions to enhance their understanding of the NCF. They explored innovative teaching strategies and discussed how to effectively implement these in their classrooms.

Aksips smart school, Mohali

To hone the digital skills of faculty members, a workshop on digital learning skills was organised for the staff of AKSIPS-65 by Extramarks. The session highlighted the usage of smart classrooms for better learning experience for students.

Blue bird high school, panchkula

A special morning assembly was held at Blue Bird High school, Sector-16, Panchkula, to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day. A speech was delivered to enlighten students about his life, struggles, achievements and contribution to the culture of peace and freedom. Various activities like audio-video presentations, biography writing and speech on his ideologies were conducted during the day.
