School notes: Shishu Niketan, Sector 43

Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 43, celebrated two decades of completion with an annual function. A play, "Cinderella", a mime performance on the message Save Water, and Traditional Trail, showcasing the cultural dances of various states were held.

SD School, Sector 19

PML SD Public School, Sector 19, celebrated its annual day, with students of Classes 1 and 2 performing folk dances from different states. A stage act on "Dronacharya" and a mime act showcasing drawbacks of social media stole the hearts of everyone. Patriotic dance and fusion dance left the audience spell bound. ”

Mount Carmel, Zirakpur

Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur, celebrated Christmas, seeing enthusiastic participation from its students. The main highlights of the event were the live performances by the students, showcasing their talents through carol singing, dance and an entertaining nativity play depicting the essence of Christmas.

Smart Wonders

Students of Classes UKG and 1 at Smart Wonders School participated in the annual event, "Musical Munchkins". The students enthralled the audience with their songs on the theme "Symphony of Seasons and Christmas", capturing the essence of nature's rhythm and the festive spirit.

GMSSS, Sector 13

Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 13, organised their annual sports day. Students demonstrated their skills in yoga and self-defence. Meanwhile, various compeitive races were also organised for both the students and the teachers.

SMD Little Champ

The SMD Little Champ school organised a fancy dress competition on its premises. The objective was not only to blend learning with fun, but also give students a platform to overcome their stage fear. Students came dressed as fruits, vegetables, animals, birds, insects among others.
