Mohali: Sector 69 primary health centre made functional

The Urban Primary Health Centre in Sector 69 finally became operational today. One medical officer, one staff nurse, one lab technician, LHV, ANM and other staff have been posted here. The authorities and other staff have already directed that patients in government health institutions should not face any difficulty.

On the occasion, Satvir Singh Dhanoa, resident welfare association president Rajvir Singh, Roshan Lal, Karam Singh Mavi, Rajiv Vashisht and others appreciated the move. Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh also raised the issue of under-construction Sector 79 dispensary which has been hanging fire for years.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
