To raise awareness about the drug abuse among college and university students, district police administration, in collaboration with RIMT University, organised a national seminar on drug awareness.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind graced the event as the the chief guest, while SSP Subham Aggarwal and Vice Chancellor Saloni Bansal presided over the event. The programme aimed to educate the students on the ill effects of drug abuse and its impact on society.

Addressing the seminar, the DC exhorted the youth to actively participate in the state government’s campaign against drugs and spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
