Seven peddlers held in Kharar, Zirakpur

The Kharar police arrested five suspects in as many cases registered at three police stations and recovered 18 gm heroin and 205 narcotic pills from the accused.
Those arrested have been identified as Ajay Kumar, a resident of Sunny Enclave, Sector 127; Sahil Sethi, a resident Janta Chowk area; Sahil Kumar, a resident of Chokta Khurd; Happy, a resident of Jujhar Nagar; and Ranjot Singh a resident of Gharuan.
Kharar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Karan Singh Sandhu said, “The police are actively taking action against drug peddlers and there is zero tolerance for such anti-social element in the society.”
In Zirakpur, police arrested a resident of Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, who has been identified as Pardeep Kumar and recovered 18 gm narcotic powder from him in Baltana.
In another case, cops arrested Fazilka resident Gurpreet Singh and recovered 2 gm heroin from his possession.
