Local residents have alleged that they were getting water mixed with sewage for the past three to four days.

Residents in Baltana, Bhabat and nearby housing societies are forced to buy bottled water for drinking as there is a risk of diseases.

A social worker from a welfare society distributed 40 cans of drinking water among the residents and promised to get the broken sewage line restored in a day or two.
