Pugilists of Sri Guru Gobind Singh (SGGS) College, Sector 26, claimed maximum gold medals, during the Panjab University Inter-College Boxing Tournament.

Abhishek Nishad of SGGS College defeated Partham of GGDSD College, Sector 32, in the 47-50 kg weight category. Another boxer representing the Sector 26 college, Karamjot Singh defeated Harshit of the Sector 32 college in the 50-55 kg event.

In the 55-60kg event, Akshit of the Sector 26 college posted win over Victor of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur. Rohit won another gold for the Sector 26 college by defeating Vaibhav Dahiya of the Sector 32 College in the 60-65 kg group. In the 65-70 kg Udayveer of AS College, Khanna, went down against Mohit of Sector 32 College, while in the 70-75kg weight group, Achalveer of the Sector 26 College defeated Mokesh Sharma of DAV College, Hoshiarpur.

Askash of SGGS College defeated Amanpreet of Khanna in the 75-80 kg bout, while in the 80-85 kg category Sohit of SGGS went down against Vivek Dahiya of the Sector 32 college. In the 85-90 kg category, Armaan of the Sector 32 College defeated Amandeep Singh of SGGS College, and in the 90 kg group, Ranveer of SGGS College went down against Gurshib Singh of AS College, Khanna.

The Sector 26 college claimed the overall trophy with a score of 850 points, while GGDSD College finished second with 500 points. The team of AS College, Khanna, finished third with 275 points.
