Shah to unveil Vajpayee’s statue in Panchkula on Dec 24: Saini

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that on December 24, on the eve of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will unveil Vajpayee’s statue at Atal Park, MDC, Sector-1, Panchkula. “He will participate in several other events scheduled in Panchkula,” Saini said.

The Chief Minister (CM) was addressing journalists today after inspecting arrangements for the programme at Atal Park. Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli was also present on the occasion.

Saini said, “After unveiling the 41-foot metal statue of Atal Ji, Amit Shah will inaugurate a blood donation camp at Atal Park. He will visit an exhibition at the state BJP office ‘Panchkamal’.”

The Home Minister would also take salute at the passing-out parade of 5,000 police personnel at Tau Devi Lal Sports Stadium, Sector 3, and attend the Veer Bal Diwas programme as the chief guest, the CM said.
