Shalby Hospital Mohali launches cancer awareness initiative 'CanSurvive’

Shalby Hospital, Mohali, today organised a special awareness event ‘CanSurvive – Pink Purple Promise’ dedicated to early detection and timely management of breast cancer and other major cancers.
The initiative aims to encourage proactive health checks and empower communities through timely access to screening and expert consultations.
The event was attended by Bittu Safeena Sandhu, Managing Trustee of Rani Breast Cancer Trust, who unveiled a specially designed cancer screening coupon, enabling subsidised screening for women and families across the region.
In a press release, Dr Ashwani Kumar Sachdeva, senior consultation, stated, “Most cancers, including breast cancer, give early signs. Regular screening and timely consultation remain the strongest tools in saving lives.”
