Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 43, organised a farewell ceremony, ‘Adios buena suerte’, for the students of Class XII. The ceremony began with a mesmerising instrumental performance by the students of class 11. A plethora of western and traditional dances, comic skit and songs were performed to enthrall the audience. Girisha was crowned Ms Shishu Niketan, while Yuvraj and Kushagra shared the title of Mr Shishu Niketan.

Nursery students participated in a class show, ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’, with enthusiasm. Dressed in beautiful costumes, the little ones cast a spell on the audience with their mesmerising performance.

St Xavier’s, Panchkula

Students of St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, bade adieu to the outgoing students of Class X. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a lecture by Vice-Principal Emily Shear Bond. School captain Aakarshita expressed her gratitude to their mentors for their invaluable contribution in making the journey a memorable one. Students of Class IX presented a foot-tapping dance, which left the audience spellbound. Principal George S Shear and Headmistress Cynthia Shear wished the outgoing batch luck in their future endeavours.

Shemrock school, Mohali

Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, celebrated sports day. While motivating the students, Principal Prineet Sohal urged them to exhibit their team spirit. She said games developed different qualities such as leadership, positive attitude, feeling of competition and positive self-esteem in the tiny-tots. TNS
