Among others, Shivalik Avenue Residents Welfare Association president Manveer Singh, secretary Jyotsna, cashier PDS Rana, Vinod Mirda, Garg, MD Tatreja and SK Datta and Iqbal Singh were present at the dharna.

According to sources, no facility was provided by the builder at the colony. The protesters said though the Punjab and Haryana High Court issued directions about one-and-a-half-year ago, nothing was done to improve facilities in the colony. Even the Kharar Municipal Council had written to the police in 2018 to take action against the builder, but nothing happened, they added.
