Zirakpur: Six booked for fraudulent sale of plot

The police have booked six persons for fraudulent sale of a plot dating back to 2013 in Zirakpur.

The suspects – Surinder Singh, Hari Chand, Munish Dev, Surinder Singh, Bhim Sen and a woman from Jarnail Enclave in Zirakpur – have been booked under Sections 420 and 120-B of the IPC and the Registration Act. Complainant Navjot Singh, a resident of Mohali, stated that his plot in Zirakpur was fraudulently registered in the name of some other person by forging the papers from the Dera Bassi court.
