The Panchkula police have arrested an opium smuggler and seized 710 gm of opium from him. The accused, identified as Ramchandra (28), son of Natthu of Barkeha village in Badaun, UP, has been remanded in police custody for four days.

The accused was nabbed on Sunday after a tip-off revealed that the accused was going to meet a customer near Ashiana parking in Sector 20. Acting swiftly, the police laid a trap and nabbed the suspect.
