Chandigarh: Residents will no longer have to visit the RLA office to apply for high-security registration plate (HSRP). The RLA will soon start a facility for submitting the application online. At present, vehicle owners have to submit the application manually. The department has already started installing HSRP at the dealer end itself. New vehicle owners get HSRP installed from the dealer. But those who take special numbers for their new vehicle have to go to the RLA office and apply manually. TNS
