A three day Parvesh and Sopan camp organised at G.M.H.S, Mauli colony concluded on Saturday.
A press release issued here said that the participants learnt various activities during the camp which was held under the guidance of Chandigarh unit of Bharat Scout Guide. The activities included first aid (caring for injured person till they receive medical care), poster making, dance etc. On the basis of the activities conducted, the scouts and guides were awarded with ranks.
The special guests motivated the scouts by sharing their life experience and also guiding them on making good choices and taking responsibility for their actions so that they are prepared for their future life as an independent person.
The program ended with the closing in ceremony with the flag down ceremony and group photograph. A feedback from the students about the camp was followed by the note of thanks presented by the Head of the school. On this note the young scouts concluded a memorable and knowledgeable Scouts & Guide camp.
Among chief guests who attended the event included Jai Bhagwaan and Hari Pal Yadav from association of Bharat Scouts & Guides, Chandigarh and school Headmistress Parveen Malik.
