Newly appointed DCP Srishti Gupta formally took charge at the DCP Office in Sector 1 today. A 2021 batch IPS officer, she has been given this responsibility following the long leave of IPS Himadree Kaushik. She has previously served as ASP in Yamunanagar.

Gupta was welcomed by DCP (Crime and Traffic) Amit Dahiya, all ACPs, and other officers. She later reviewed overall security arrangements and spoke about the zero-tolerance policy towards crimes, especially those against women, children and senior citizens. She assured that prompt and sensitive action would be taken on any complaints.
