Staffer positive, P'kula Shiksha Sadan shut for 48 hrs
PCS officer among three more infected in P’kula

A clerical staff member at Shiksha Sadan (Haryana) and a Punjab Civil Services (PCS) officer were among four persons who tested positive for Covid-19 today, taking the district tally to 133.
The 26-year-old employee, who hails from Hisar, lives at a rented accommodation in Sector 19 along with a few others, who will also be tested for the virus. His contacts at Shiksha Sadan are also being traced.
The building of Shiksha Sadan in Sector 5 was shut for the next 48 hours after the employee was found positive for Covid. The building will be reopened after proper sanitisation, health officials said.
A 26-year-old resident of Sector 7, a PCS officer in Mohali, also tested positive for the virus. His mother and wife would be tested for Covid tomorrow.
The sample of a 30-year-old man from Adarsh Colony in Kalka also came positive today.
The fourth case was of an elderly man from Sector 7. He is the father of an already positive patient, whose two brothers were found infected yesterday.
