Start subsidised lunch for poor: NGO to Adviser

Sangee Sabha has written to UT Adviser Manoj Parida to start the services of subsidised lunch worth Rs 10 for poor.

In case, there is lack of operational power, some NGOs should be involved.

Hari Om Kumar, president,also complained to the Adviser to take legal action against those whohave come from abroad and have been hiding in the country and spreading this deadly disease. They should be given a warning through TV to surrender themselves to the government within 24 hours . If they fail to comply with this in the given time and are caught later,they should be booked,” he said in his communication to the Adviser.

It also suggestedinstitutes like PGI and other big corporate hospitals should start providing WhatsApp numbers of all specialities such as neurology, neurosurgery, urology, radiotherapy, cardiology, hematology, pulmonology, ENT and ophthalmology, etc, so that post operative/follow-up patient care can be undertaken. Urgent medical attentions whatsoever is possible can also be provided. Thermal scanning should be made compulsory for any visitor coming to these institutes.

In case, any patient has urgency and has been called by hospital through WhatsApp message,(or any other medium of social media), it should be considered as a valid document for movement during the curfew or lockdown,” he added.
