To stop a third wave of the coronavirus, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has asked the UT Administration to step up the vaccination drive and ensure strict compliance with Covid-appropriate behaviour.

‘Already on the job’

During a video conference with the Secretary, Home, UT Adviser Dharam Pal mentioned that they had already ramped up testing and the vaccination drive. Camps were being organised and even dispensaries were opened on Sundays so that people could just walk in to get vaccinated.

On the directions of UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore, a special vaccination camp was being organised at Sukhna Lake as a large number of visitors throng the area every day.
