Chandigarh, February 16

Stone-laying ceremony for a new hostel block dedicated to the MBBS students on the GMCH campus, Sector 48, was held today.

Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament; Rajeev Verma, Adviser to the Administrator; Dr Vijay N Zade, Secretary, Engineering; Ajay Chagti, Secretary, Health; and other officials from of the Administration were present.

The six-storey hostel block, covering 2,40,750 sq ft, is aimed at addressing the crucial need for accommodation for the MBBS students.
