Strawberry Fields log 48-run victory at cricket tourney
The Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, handed the Saupin’s School, Sector 32, a 48-run defeat at the ongoing seventh Amanjit Memorial Cricket Tournament.
Aarik and Veer Talwar adjudged Man of the Match.
YPS Patiala also posted a dominant win over Saupin’s School, Sector 32, racing to a 59-run victory, led by Reyan Jain’s stellar performance.
The host team of Yadavindra Public School, meanwhile, edged out St Kabir School, Sector 26, by 10 runs, with Manvinder Singh earning Man of the Match honours.
In other league matches, the hosts defeated St Soldier School by 123 runs. Smayan of YPS earned the title of Man of the Match. The hosts won their second match by recording a 27-run win over Vivek High School. Aprajit bagged the Man of the Match award for claiming five crucial wickets.
The Gurukul School overpowered YPS, Patiala and won the match by six wickets with Manraj becoming the Man of the Match.

Meanwhile, at the second Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Basketball Tournament (Under – 17 girls), Carmel Convent School emerged victorious over Learning Path, Mohali, with a final score of 38–32.
Rishika’s impressive 15-point performance helped the side log win.
The second match saw Strawberry Field High School triumph over Saupin’s Chandigarh with a score line of 14–09, with Samaria contributing a crucial 5 points.
YPS, Mohali clinched the match from Carmel Convent with a score of 35-16 and Avantika emerging as the highest scorer with 15 points. Strawberry Field High School defeated YPS, Patiala with a score of 35-10 and Smaira became the highest scorer garnering 11 points.
