The police have arrested a law student of a private college with an illegal pistol and four rounds in a Zirakpur hotel.

Yadwinder Singh (21), a resident of Majitha Road, Amritsar, was arrested from Hotel Crown, Lohgarh Road, in Zirakpur. A case under Sections 25-54-59 of the Arms Act was registered against him at the Zirakpur police station on June 14. He is in police remand at present.
