An NGO, Pukaar, collaborated with the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Dayalpura, and the Zirakpur police to organise an awareness activity on traffic lights in Zirakpur to address the issue of children being forced into begging.

The initiative is aimed at educating the public about the importance of following traffic signals and raising awareness about the risks of child exploitation. The event featured interactive sessions and demonstrations, highlighting the importance of the protection of vulnerable children.

Sukhwinder Singh, Rahul, Nandini, Gagan, Aradhya, Harnoor and Aryavir were present from team Pukaar, and seven students from Dayalpura Government School and a teacher, Khushpreet Kaur, participated in the activity.
