The Sultans of Swing matched their opening result with a resounding 6-1 win over Golf Masters, while Royals brought themselves back into contention with a 5.5-1.5 win over Signature by KLV at the ongoing Chandigarh Golf League in Chandigarh Golf Club.

Tee Birds also made amends for their previous match by outclassing The Mulligans 5-2, while the Golf Ninjas posted their first win of the tournament with a 5.5-1.5 win against Seven Iron. Gurpreet Singh of the Ninjas had a hole in one on the par 38th hole making this the second this season.

Meanwhile, Royals started out with some big game wins coming from Virain Khosla-Sehajbir Sidhu pair winning 8&7, while Darvesh Kumar-Damanjit Virk pair won 5&4. Angad Matharoo and Ajay Kanwar won the only full point for KLV as the opening singles was halved.

The Masters’ Yogeshwar Ghuman won his singles 6&4, with Tarun Lehal followed it up with a 4&3 win. Navtaj Sujlana and RK Pachnanda won their four-ball game 6&5 to put their team on the way for a clean sweep before Daljeet Singh and Tejbir Wason got home 1-Up for the Masters. After their reverse in the last fixture, Tee Birds rearranged their pairings and the move helped as Shaurya Sharma and Saurabh Mangat won the singles games.

Rao Birinder Singh and Swaraj Singh anchored the win with a 4&3 four-ball win. The Mulligans scored their wins through Sultan Singh Matharoo-Jasprit Bakshi’s 5&3 in game six of the match. Seven Iron’s Vaibhav Mehan and Col Avnish Sharma won 6&5 to swept the final two games.
