Suspended cop Jaswinder Kaur seeks separate cell in jail
Chandigarh, July 28
Suspended Inspector Jaswinder Kaur has filed an application before the CBI court, seeking directions to the Burail jail Superintendent to keep her separate from other prisoners whenever she is sent to judicial custody in the case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will produce Jaswinder Kaur before the court tomorrow as her four-day remand comes to an end. In the application, Kaur said she had been working in the Police Department for the past 20 years and had been an investigation officer in cases against several inmates of the jail and they might plan taking a revenge or harming her in any manner.
