Chandigarh, July 31
The disciplinary committee of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana has revoked the suspension of the licence of former vice-president of Punjab and Haryana Bar Association Dinesh Jangra.
The committee had suspended Jangra’s licence on July 25 while hearing complaints against Vikas Malik, president of the association.
While revoking the suspension of the licence, the committee observed, “We have gone through the application moved by Jangra and are of the view that since he has tendered an unconditional apology to the complainant, the suspension of his licence is hereby revoked, subject to the final outcome of the present complaint”.
The committee also directed Jangra to file reply on the alleged conversation with the advocate of the complainant on the next date of hearing.
