He said that the Opposition had raised questions at that time, but Modi, carrying forward Mahatma Gandhi's message, launched a campaign for freedom from filth.

He said, "Cleanliness is karma, cleanliness is dharma."

He highlighted that the campaign has made significant progress, with villages and cities becoming ODF Plus, and efforts are now being made towards achieving the Water Plus goal, ensuring clean water for residents.

The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign is being launched across the country on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, with a focus on eliminating large dump sites and promoting waste-to-energy projects.

Khattar led the campaign by sweeping and encouraged citizens to make cleanliness a part of their lifestyle. People also took a pledge to prioritize cleanliness.
