Taanish in boys’ U-14 final
Top seed Punjab’s Taanish Nanda moved into the boys’ U-14 final by defeating Haryana’s Harsh Marwaha 6-4 7-6(5) during the ongoing Roots-AITA CS (7) National Ranking Championship. Second seed Punjab’s Mahijith Singh defeated fourth seed Yatharth Wadhera 6-3 6-4.
In the girls’ U-16 semis, Punjab’s Avni Uttam overpowered Japji Kaur 6-4 6-4, while Chandigarh’s Ditti Prajapat recorded a 6-4 6-2 win over Haryana’s Aaradhya Tandon.
Punjab’s Tanya Bhatnagar stunned top seed Delhi’s Sakranti Chauhan 6-2 6-2 to move into the girls’ U-14 final. She will be facing Japman Kaur, who defeated Sehajpreet Kaur 6-3 6-1, in the final.
