Maharashtra’s Tara Shah outplayed Haryana’s Devika Sihag to win the girls’ U-19 title on the concluding day of the Yonex-Sunrise 29th Smt Krishna Khaitan All-India Junior (U-19) Ranking Badminton Tournament. Tara lost the first game 12-21, but fought back to win the next two games 21-16, 21-17 win.

Second seed Haryana’s Bharat Raghav won the boys’ U-19 title by getting over a tough challenge by Sanskar Saraswat. Raghav logged a 13-21, 21-7, 21-17 victory to claim the title.

The pair of Tushar Suveer and Nicholas Nathan Raj won the boys’ U-19 doubles title by defeating Arsh Mohammad and Sanskar Saraswat 18-21, 21-14, 21-19. In the girls’ U-19 doubles final, Tamil Nadu’s Shreya Balaji and Srinidhi N overpowered Navya Kanderi and Rakshitha Sree S 21-19, 21-11. Hari Bharathi B and Dhanyaa N won the mixed doubles title by defeating Arulmurugan R and Srinidhi N 21-16, 21-13.

In the semifinals, Uneeth Krishna BV and Shashank Chhetri went down against Raj and Suveer 16-21, 17-21, while Mohammad and Saraswat defeated Ahwani Kumar Singh and Ansh Vishal Gupta 21-17, 21-17.
