The Theatre Arts ensemble and Panjab University Alumni Association presented a light and sight sound spectacle “Sat Guru Nanak Pargateya” at the PU auditorium here today.

Written by Baljinder Singh Darapuri and directed by Rajiv Mehta, the play highlights teachings of the first Sikh Guru.

Director relied on audio-visual screen effects to augment the content of all the episodes replete with spiritual wisdom propagated by Guru Nanak during his 28,000 mile yatra in life.

Be it the realisation, which came to Sajjan thug, Pakhandi sadhus, Malik Bhago King Babar , Pandas and Namazis the, “ Tera tera”, ideology of was effectively reflected in the play.

The main objective of the play was to give a message to youth to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak. Prof Deepti Gupta, Dean Alumni, and secretary PUAA welcomed the guests.
