Chandigarh, December 15

For the coming academic session, the income certificate for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will be issued by the Tehsildar (Revenue).

The official spokesperson said the income certificates would be issued by the Tehsildar (R), UT, in respect of the residents of Chandigarh who come under the EWS quota for the purpose of admission to educational institutions situated in the city only.

The applicants can download the application form from e-district portal i.e. (http://chdservices.gov.in) from December 20 and these forms can also be obtained from any Sampark Centre. The applications can be submitted to any Sampark Centre in Chandigarh along with all required documents (as per a checklist attached with the application form) by January 31, 2022, and no form will be accepted/submitted after January 31, 2022.

The applications under objection will be dealt till February 3, 2022. On completion of all formalities and procedure, the applicants can collect their income certificate from any Sampark Centre.
