Top seed Haryana’s Aditi Rawat will face fourth seed Delhi’s Tejasvi Dabas in the final of the Roots-AITA Women’s 1 Lakh Prize Money National Rankings Championship at Roots Tennis Academy. The final will take place on July 4.

In the first semifinal played today, Delhi’s Tejasvi managed to overcome a tough challenge by second seed Sahira Singh of Punjab. Playing under extreme humid conditions, Tejasvi lost the first set after a neck-and-neck fight 4-6. However, she bounced back strongly in the second and logged a 6-3 win. In the decider, Tejasvi maintained a good composure and recorded a 6-2 win to sail into the final.

In the second semi, Aditi Rawat was leading 4-3 against Delhi’s Mahika Khanna when the latter conceded the match.
