Miscreants made a failed bid to break into the wall of Phase-2 finance company on Saturday night. With alarm getting activated, miscreants had to make a hasty retreat from the spot. Within minutes, officials of the company and police reached the spot. The police said the miscreants broke open the wall of the adjoining under-construction showroom to make an entry into the office. A gas cutter, some tools, a screw driver, and a photocopy of an Aadhaar Card was found in the bag left by the miscreants. On the complaint of Muthoot finance company manager Amit, a case has been registered against Hari Swarnkarin, a Jharkhand resident, at the Phase-1 police station. Cops said in the CCTV footage of the area, around four to five persons are suspected to be involved in the theft.
