The police have arrested three people for their alleged involvement in snatchings and theft incidents in the city.

The accused have been identified as Mauli Baidwan resident Gurjeet Singh and Sector 67 resident Parvinder Singh and Bihar native Roshan Mandal.

The police team recovered three snatched mobile phones from the possession of the accused. On the complaint of Sector 86 resident Meen Luhar, a snatching case had earlier been registered.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
