Three flee with Shimla cabbie’s car

Three unidentified armed youths made off with the car of a cabbie from Dhalli, Shimla, near Adda Jhungian here on September 29.

Complainant Ashol Kumar stated that he had come from Shimla to pick up a customer from the Mohali airport on September 29. He stopped near Adda Jhungian and slept inside the car. In the meantime, three youths, who had their faces covered, came around 2:30 am. They broke the windowpane of the driver’s seat, pushed him out and fled with the car.

A case has been registered at the Zirakpur police station.
