Three local residents were held for roaming in the city in violation of the lockdown orders. According to the police, Rajat Bansal, a resident of Sector 37, Karanbir Singh, a resident of Sector 32, and Shubneet Grover, a resident of Sector 24, were stopped at a naka in Sector 37 during restricted hours on May 24. They could not produce any document regarding permission for movement. A case against them was registered under Section 188 of the IPC at the Sector 39 police station. They were arrested and later released on bail.
