TiE Chandigarh show on women entrepreneurship big draw

On the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day, the Chandigarh chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) organised a women-centric session here. The event was aimed at celebrating the soaring spirits of female entrepreneurs, associated with the TiE and other organisations, venturing out of their conventional mould.
Puneet Verma, vice-president, TiE Chandigarh, and founder of Cybrain Software Solutions and Satish Kumar Arora (co-founder, AppSmartz) president of TiE Chandigarh, said they were optimistic about the initiative offering women a window of opportunities to become self-sufficient and contribute to the integrated growth of the country.
This event highlighted the achievements of women in every sphere. The event attracted hundreds of new and old members, who rooted for the women-centric initiatives, offering them enough space for their holistic growth, economically and otherwise.
A panel discussion on the regional women entrepreneurship associated with the TiE, was held on the occasion, where members shared their views on scripting success stories in their respective business ventures.
The occasion offered the attendees a chance to explore new products and ramp up services and ideas. The new entrants were inspired by the stories that women entrepreneurs before them have scripted.
The members also shared their experiences on taking on potential challenges and moving on to achieve success. The event offered a window of opportunity to the young and aspirational startups and others to chase their entrepreneurial dreams. It offered a mélange of networking opportunities to the attendees.
