Tiff: 24-year-old takes poison

Dera Bassi, December 19

A 24-year-old youth allegedly consumed poison following an argument with his father on Thursday evening in Dera Bassi. The victim has been identified as Pardesi, who works at a brick-kiln and is a resident of Bijanpur village.

According to the sources, the victim had a quarrel with his father over some issue and in a fit of rage, he consumed poison. Pardesi was rushed to the Dera Bassi Civil Hospital, from where he was referred to GMCH-32, Chandigarh. — OC
