Two men riding a motorcycle were killed when their two-wheeler collided with tipper truck parked on Billa village to Assrewali road here on Monday.
In his complaint to the police, Baljit Singh, a resident of Kamlari village in Chandimandir, said his brother Manish and cousin Kamal were killed while they were on their way to home. Manish who was riding the motorcycle tried to save a stray cattle and collided with a vehicle parked by the side of the road.
The two were taken to Civil Hospital, Sector 6, from where Manish was referred to PGI where he died during treatment. Doctors at the Civil hospital pronounced Kamal dead.
The Panchkula police have registered a case against tipper driver Harsh Yadav under Sections 106 (Causing death by negligence) and 285 (act causing danger, obstruction or injury to any person) of the BNS.
