Verma told the delegation that the new authorities were working diligently to address these issues, with additional staff deployed to ensure timely resolution of electricity complaints and provide uninterrupted power supply.

Chadha highlighted the recent incident of a fire at a wiring junction in Sector 17, which took almost three days to resolve, resulting in significant losses to shopkeepers. Verma enquired about the incident and promised immediate remedial action.

The issue of long and frequent power failures was also raised by Kiran Narad, Radhey Bajaj, Mohit Sood, and other senior functionaries of the traders' body.
