Vocalist Neera Grover created a divine aura on the concluding day of ‘Ekas ke hum baarik’ programme, organised by the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, at Tagore Theatre here today.

Neera Grover commenced her programme with the ‘Ganesh Vandana’, followed by two Meera bhajans, ‘Kanha teri jovat’ in ‘Raga Mishra Jogia’ and ‘Ramaiya main to thare’ in ‘Raga Chaya Nat’. Grover continued her mesmerising spell with ‘bhajans’ of Tulsidas. She concluded her memorable recital with a ‘kirtan’ in ‘Raga Bhairavi’. Internationally-acclaimed art historian Dr BN Goswami was the chief guest. Classical Vocalist Pandit Yashpaul and Kashish Mittal (IAS officer) were also present. — OC
