Tree falls on vehicles in Ambala

Several vehicles got damaged after a tree fell on the vehicles during a four-laning project in Ambala Cantonment on Saturday.

The vehicles parked inside and outside SD College, Ambala Cantonment, got damaged, however, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The owners of the damaged vehicles said they were not informed and warned from parking their vehicles.

Anil Kumar, a forest department official, said, “Though adequate measures are being taken, a tree fell on some vehicles. The vehicle owners will be compensated. Since it is a busy road, it is not possible to stop the traffic and carry out the work. Safety measures are being taken to avoid any untoward incident.”
