“The medical tourism industry in India is likely to touch USD 13 billion by 2026. Indian doctors are ranked as best trained professional worldwide. Our surgical outcomes are better and comparable with international standards,” he said while addressing the media.

The cost of hip replacement which is around USD 57,000 in the US is around USD 7000 in India with the same implant, Dr Aggarwal added.
