Former Indian cricketer, Ashok Malhotra, who is also the chairperson for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Cricket Advisory Committee, unveiled the trophy for the third edition of the RP Singh U-16 Memorial Cricket Tournament.
The cricket tourney is being organised in the memory of RP Singh, former senior cricket coach and selector for the Punjab and Chandigarh sides.
A total of eight under-16 teams representing different parts of the tricity area have confirmed their participation for this year's competition.

Oragnised with the aim to groom the junior cricketers, the RP Singh U-16 Memorial Cricket Tournament matches will be played across three different venues.
