Two aides of Bishnoi gang member nailed in Mohali

The police have arrested a resident of Badmajra, Devraj Sharma, his sons Bunty Sharma and Gaurav Sharma, alias Gauri, and recovered 137 gm of heroin and Rs 3.07 lakh drug money from their possession. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at the Balongi police station.

The three suspects lived at Raja Ram Colony. During preliminary investigation, Gaurav and Bunty revealed that they were associated with Rajinder Singh, alias Joker of Bhiwani, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Rajinder, an accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, has absconded. He provided logistics and hideout at Uklana Mandi City of Hisar to the shooters involved in the murder. Gaurav and Bunty are co-accused of Rajinder in an attempt-to-murder case registered on November 11, 2021, at the Phase-1 police station. Mohali SSP Vivek Sheel Soni said the trio were involved in several heinous crimes in the district. Five cases had been registered against them in Mohali only. Kharar DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar said, “Bunty’s elder brother Ravi

is lodged in a jail in a murder case. Ravi is also associated with this gang. Further investigation is going on to gather information about their associates and their areas of drug distribution.”
