The Netball Federation of India has selected two city-based players for the national squad set to play at the Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup 2025 from June 5 to 8 at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre. One of the two players, Kavita, has been appointed Vice-Captain of the team, while Tapasya has also been included in the squad. Both the players are students of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11.

The team will be captained by Vidhi, while other members will include Amritha P Prasad, Gauri Madhukar Shende, Armandeep Kaur, Ashna Maria Jose, Litisha gouti, Yashasri yeruva, Sravani Santosh Sambrekar, Khushi, Mahi. Vikram Adhitya Reddy has been appointed as the coach while Rajinder Kaur and Sharayu Jagtap will be the assistant coach and manager, respectively.

Rakesh Malik, Director of Sports, Panjab University, was the chief guest during the send-off and kit unveiling ceremony organised by Netball Sports Promotion Association Chandigarh.

Meanwhile, PS Lamba, General Secretary, Netball Sports Promotion Association Chandigarh, congratulated the players.
