In a minor reshuffle, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today ordered the transfer of three IAS officers and one IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre.

Sanjay Kumar Jha (2008 batch), Secretary, Departments of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Public Relations, Personnel, Printing and Stationery, Cooperation, Establishment and Agriculture, Chandigarh, has been transferred to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Sachin Rana (2014 batch), Special Secretary, Departments of Technical Education and House Allotment Committee, also holding the charge of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Additional Registrar Cooperative Societies, and Secretary, Red Cross Society, UT, has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. The MHA also ordered the transfer of Nitika Pawar (2012 batch) from Andaman and Nicobar Islands to Chandigarh.

A day after the approval of the name of Punjab-cadre IPS officer Kuldeep Singh Chahal (2009 batch) for the post of the UT Senior Superintendent of Police, the MHA today ordered the transfer of Ketan Bansal, an IPS officer of the 2016 batch, from Mizoram to Chandigarh with immediate effect.
