Complainant Vicky Kumar (21), a resident of Mani Majra, stated that he was returning home after watching Ramleela last midnight. Four motorcycle-borne persons came from behind and started beating him. They later snatched his silver chain.

The complainant noted down the partial number of the motorcycle. The police arrested the suspects in just six hours and recovered the chain and the bike used in the crime.

The youths have been sent to judicial custody, while the juveniles have been apprehended and sent to the Juvenile Home in Sector 25. A case under Sections 379-A, 34 and 411 of the IPC has been registered at the Mani Majra police station.
